Exciting news – I was featured in Writer’s Digest for an interview about my novel, Laurel Everywhere!
I wanted to write a story that was different—that shows that grief is not something to overcome, instead something to learn to live with. Finding love in spite of grief is powerful and healing, but it must coexist with grief. It doesn’t erase it. I wanted to write a story for teens that shows grief in a nuanced and complicated light, as well as love and friendship.
